Brazil business visa Type II Chicago Consulate

Type II visa description: Travelers with business purposes, except when the trip involves the provision of services of any nature in Brazil (in which case a Vitem V is mandatory). Business visas are issued to business travelers who possess signed import/export contracts or who are traveling to visit companies, make commercial contacts or evaluate investment opportunities;

1. Original passport (valid 6 months beyond stay with at least two clear unused visa pages)
2. 1 completed visa application form/ Receipt ("Protocolo") Click Here ALL fields must be filled out, not only those indicated with an asterisk. Incomplete forms will be returned;
   The information provided by the applicant is used for issuing the VISA: Be very carefull when filling out the visa application form.

4. 1 passport photo full face white background (2 inches by 2 inches)

5. A letter from the applicant’s employer: 
   On its letterhead, signed by senior management or superior, informing: job position, job description;  purpose and description of the applicant’s intended activities during the trip, providing details such as dates, places, contacts, and end-purpose of the trip (sales, purchases, coordination, auditing, etc);  duration of the trip. Information on periodicity, average length and assignment description of future trips, if any;  financial responsibility for the trip. Included in this letter must be the phrase "No technical assistance will be provided”

6. Business visa applicants will also need to submit a letter of invitation from the company in Brazil that they are going to visit. A fax copy is acceptable. This letter also should state the purpose of the trip

7. 1 Copy of flight itinerary (complete round trip)
8. 1 Copy of Drivers License.
9. Foreign passport holder: Copy of USA immigration status (green card H1 etc.)
10. USA passport consulate fee for business Type II visa is $160 payable only with a “US Postal Svc. Money order”. If you do not provide the money order Peninsula Visa will charge $25 to obtain one for you.
11. Foreign passport holder fee (call Peninsula Visa)
12. Please enclose prepaid return air bill.
13. Processing time 12 business days in the Consulate.

Brazil Tourist visa Chicago Consulate

8. USA passport consulate fee for Tourist visa is $160 payable only with a “US Postal Svc. Money order”. If you do not provide the money order Peninsula Visa will charge $25 to obtain one for you.

9. Minors under 18 years of age:  
   . A copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required in all cases;
   . Minors not traveling with both parents/guardians must provide a notarized letter of consent signed by the non-accompanying parent(s)/guardian(s) authorizing the Consulate to issue a visa; 
   . A certificate of vaccination against polio is required for children between ages of three months and six years. A notarized letter from the child's physician is required if the child cannot be inoculated.
