Brazil business visa Type II San Francisco Consulate

 

  1. Original passport (valid 6 months beyond stay with at least one clear unused visa page)
  2. 1 completed visa application form Click Here .This link will take you to a web site where you can create the application form. EVERY QUESTION IN THE ONLINE APPLICATION MUST BE ANSWERED OR THE APPLICATION WILL BE REJECTED AT THE CONSULATE. Once you have completed the questionnaire print out the receipt and sign it and add your photo. The receipt with the photo(glued on) is your proof of application(at the Consulate the receipt will be scanned to create your application form.).
  3. 1 passport photo full face white background (2 inches by 2 inches)

  4. Business visa applicants need to submit:

    A letter on your USA company’s letterhead, signed by management, informing your job description, the purpose of your trip, who will pay for your expenses and how long you intend to stay in Brazil. Include your Brazil contacts name,company name address and phone number.In order to expedite your visa, please provide as much information as you can on the activities that you intend to perform in Brazil.Included in this letter must be the phrase "No technical assistance will be provided”

  5.  If your trip to Brazil is for meetings other than Sales or Marketing the Consulate will request:

    A letter from your company’s counterpart or contact in Brazil, informing the business relationship between the two organizations, how your activities in Brazil will be performed and for how long. The Consulate prefers to have the letter from the Brazilian side in Portuguese and it must be signed.(fax is acceptable).

  6. 1 Copy of flight itinerary (complete round trip)
  7. Foreign passport holder: Copy of USA immigration status (green card H1 etc.)
  8. USA passport consulate fee for business Type II visa is $210 payable only with a “US Postal Svc. Money order”. If you do not provide the money order Peninsula Visa will charge $25 to obtain one for you.
  9. Foreign passport holder fee (call Peninsula Visa)
  10. Please enclose prepaid return air bill.
  11. Processing time is 6 business days for "Rush service"in the Consulate. Regular processing is 9 business days.

 

When all documents have been prepared please call Peninsula Visa at 1-800-665-8472 to start a work order and to get shipping instructions.  Do not send any documents to Peninsula Visa until you have initiated a work order.

 

Brazil Tourist visa San Francisco Consulate

  7. Minors under 18 years of age:  
    . A copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required in all cases;
    . Minors not traveling with both parents/guardians must provide a notarized letter of consent signed by the non-accompanying parent(s)/guardian(s) authorizing the Consulate to issue a visa; 
    . A certificate of vaccination against polio is required for children between ages of three months and six years. A notarized letter from the child's physician is required if the child cannot be inoculated.
