• Peoples Republic of China Visa Requirements:
  (To obtain a single, double or Multiple entry visa.)
  
  
• Passport: Valid 6 or more months with clear visa page.
  
• 1 Peoples Republic of China Visa Application
  
• 1 Color Photograph 2" x 2" with white or light background
• An applicant who was born in China is required to submit his /her Chinese passport or last foreign passport with a Chinese visa when he/she applies for a Chinese visa with a new foreign passport.
  
• Tourist applicants require a Copy of airline tickets & Copy of hotel confirmation.
  
• Business applicants require (in addition to a Copy of airline tickets & Copy of hotel confirmation) a visa notification(Invitation) issued by the authorized Chinese unit / Foreign Ministry. Click here for sample. (Consulate requires the "ORIGINAL" Invitation,fax or email scans are NOT acceptable.)
• Employment/Work(Z-visa) Visa applicants,in addition to above requirements must submit the original "Z" visa certificate and a "Physical examination form "
• Applicants visiting friends and family members shall provide round trip air tickets and proof of kinship.
• Some non US passport holders(Call Peninsula Visa for Information) must submit proof of having been issued a previous China visa.The exception is the China Embassy in Washington DC where proof of a previous visa is not required.
• All non US passport holders are also required to supply a copy of green card front and back or US immigration status (US visa and I-94 card)
• All non US passport holders must submit their most recent bank statement and an original " Employment letter" from their employer.

Travelers can request either a single, double, 6 month or 12 month multiple entry visa. However the Consulate has the right to determine the type and duration of the visa issued.

Japan and Singapore Passport holders do not require a visa for travel to China for up to 15 day's stay. *(However,begining July 1st 2008 Singapore passport holders will require a visa).    Passport must be valid for 6 or more months from date of entry into China. The China Embassy or Consulates will no longer accept visa applications by regular or express mail or any other delivery services (Fedex, DHL, UPS,).  Applications must be submitted in person, by an agent of the traveler or a visa service authorized to do business at the China Embassy and Consulates.

• Official invitation issued by the Russian Ministry of the Internal Affairs of Russia, its local offices or the Russian Foreign Ministry, its regional offices,  or any other authorized Russian agency. The letter must contain: official seal and legal address of the agency, document registration number, date of registration, signature and name of an authorized official, travel itinerary, dates of stay, names of persons invited. We reserve the right to request originals of any invitation. Copies of multiple business invitations are not accepted - please submit original of multiple invitation. If you are traveling for business to Moscow, you must have the original Visa Invitation or an Index number of the invitation if it has been telexed or faxed directly to the Consulate or Embassy.  For all other cities a fax copy of the invitation will suffice. 
• Passport (original valid for six months beyond stay ). Passport must contain at least one blank page marked  "visas", otherwise the passport and documents will not be accepted and will be returned.
• Copy of the passport's vital page( s).
• Standard Application form (must be filled out completely with all information requested, must have original signature and dated), with one passport-size photo glued or stapled at the place for photo on the application form. • Official hospital HIV (AIDS) Test Certificate is required along with your paperwork if you apply for a visa valid for more than 3 months.   
• Visa processing fee made payable to the Russian Consulate General by money order, cashier's check or company check only (see fees and time schedule below). Please do not send cash or personal checks. 
• A cover letter from your company (or from yourself if you are traveling individually) with information about the traveler, destination, terms and purpose of the trip, cities to be visited in Russia and telephone or facsimile number where you can be reached.
• * If you are a non US passport holder you must provide proof of health insurance.
• Canada passport Holders processing time is a minimum of 15 business days.

Tourist visa:

          * Tourist visa can be single-entry or double-entry and can be issued for no longer than 30 days

• Standard "Confirmation" and "Tourist Voucher" from Russian travel agency, Russian hotel Receiving organization should be duly registered as a tourist company with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and assigned a special reference number. This reference number should be indicated on the Confirmation Letter.
  Cruise-ship passengers are required to present a letter from the Cruise Company and a Cruise Confirmation Letter from the cruise company’s partner agency in Russia (ask your cruise operator for a copy of that letter prior to applying for a visa).
