SAN FRANCISCO, August 19, 2026 — Peninsula Visa today announced an ongoing modernization of its public digital experience and staff operations platform, led hands-on by CEO Evan in collaboration with Replit Agent. The work brings a more modern, easier-to-use experience to travelers researching travel-document services while giving the company’s staff a refined, Apple-inspired Admin Panel for the operational work behind every case.

Founded in 1975, Peninsula Visa has spent five decades helping individuals, families, and organizations navigate visa, passport, and travel-document processes. The company is applying that practical knowledge to a new generation of digital tools—without treating a complex, high-stakes service as a purely technical problem.

Modernizing a Legacy Service Business with Domain Knowledge at the Center

For a long-established travel-document company, modernization means more than refreshing a website. Travelers need clear paths to understand services, prepare for an application, and connect with knowledgeable people when their circumstances require attention. Staff need systems that make important details easier to find and routine work easier to manage, while preserving the accountability that travel-document services demand.

Under Evan’s direction, Peninsula Visa is improving the public site for service discovery and travel planning while evolving a staff Admin Panel that brings operational work into a clearer, more cohesive workspace. The visual direction takes inspiration from the clarity, restraint, and usability associated with Apple-inspired product design; the operational direction remains grounded in Peninsula Visa’s own experience serving travelers.

AI as a Development Collaborator, Not an Immigration Authority

Replit Agent is helping accelerate product development by assisting with implementation, iteration, and the translation of operational ideas into software. Evan remains closely involved in the work, bringing the customer perspective and operational context that only a long-running travel-document business can provide.

AI does not make visa, immigration, or government decisions for Peninsula Visa customers. Those outcomes remain the responsibility of the relevant government authorities, and Peninsula Visa’s team remains responsible for the guidance, review, service delivery, and operational judgment it provides.

“After 50 years in this business, we know that good service is built on judgment, accountability, and an understanding of what travelers are trying to accomplish,” said Evan, CEO of Peninsula Visa. “Replit Agent is helping us move faster on the product work, but it does not replace the people who understand our customers and the operational responsibility that comes with travel documents. My role is to keep those realities at the center as we build.”

A Better Experience for Travelers and Staff

The modernization focuses on practical improvements: clearer public paths for researching services and starting a conversation, along with a more organized internal workspace for staff handling day-to-day travel-document operations. The goal is a digital experience that feels current and straightforward while continuing to make room for human expertise when a traveler’s needs are nuanced.

“This is not a story about automating away responsibility,” Evan added. “It is about giving a team with deep experience better tools, and giving travelers a clearer way to begin.”
